Cleaning your camper without chemicals

Did you burn your food in the pan? No problem, with some natron, you can easily clean your cooking utensils. To do this, moisten the affected areas, spread the natron on it, let it soak in, and boil it with water.

The all-rounder also helps with stains on upholstery or clothing. Mix 2 tablespoons of natron with a little warm water until it is a paste. Apply this to a dirt stain, and after half an hour, brush, wipe or wash out the stains and dirt.

You can also dissolve natron in warm water and spray the mixture on textiles. The mixture will remove most odors. You can even use it to neutralize odors in refrigerators or coolers. Just place a small container with natron in the refrigerator/cooler and wait. The same principle applies if you want to get rid of the stench in trash cans.

Similarly, you can spread the paste of 2 tablespoons of natron and some warm water on encrusted and burnt spots in the oven, wait for about half an hour and clean it with a sponge. 

Limescale is also very easy to remove from faucets if you add some natron to the water.

This jack-of-all-trades also helps against mold. Use the paste already mentioned and apply it to the affected areas. Let it do its magic for about 30 minutes and remove it with a sponge afterward. 

You can clean the drain of your camper with a natron-vinegar mixture. Put a small cup of natron down the drain, pour half a cup of vinegar on top, wait about 20 minutes, and rinse with hot water at the end. 

Vinegar has a disinfecting effect. A dash of it in lukewarm water thus reliably cleans the floor. For more stubborn stains, you can use a little salt as a scrubbing agent. (But first, try this on a small and hidden spot, and don't rub too hard).
By the way: You can clean and maintain wood or cork surfaces and floors with olive, coconut, or aloe vera oil.

A mixture of one part vinegar and four parts water will quickly, easily, and inexpensively clean your windows and mirrors. Add a few drops of all-natural essential oil to mask the vinegar smell a bit.

Due to its disinfecting effect, vinegar is also perfect for cleaning refrigerators or coolers. Wipe down all surfaces with a 50:50 mixture of vinegar and water. Don't worry: the vinegar smell disappears very quickly.

Not only natron but also vinegar can save encrusted pans and pots. Food residue is dissolved with boiling water, to which you add 3-5 tablespoons of vinegar. 

You can soak lime and urine scales with vinegar or citric acid. Spread natron or baking powder on the surfaces. After that, cleaning should be a bit easier.
